It’s been awhile since I gave some Reeve updates or more like several months… let me tell you, a LOT has changed! You are no longer my baby boy, seems like one day we woke up and you turned into this crazy, impatient, smart, curly white haired, ornery, LOVABLE kid. Our biggest battle right now is your obsession with the dogs, or more truthfully your obsession with MY terrible reaction to your obsession. You’ve learned that it is a TON of fun to hear me yell. You simply couldn’t be more delighted to get me stopping my feet and hear my loudest growl. This has left me sort of confused and bit worried… Unfortunately, I think it’s going to take some work to reverse this mess I’ve made. It’s unbelievably difficult to not react to your misbehaving but this game must end. As for the latest stats… you stand on the scale every time you go in the bathroom so I happen to know you weigh 24.6 lbs. about average. You walked just before 13 months. You have yet to utter a word, other than dada but it seems that most things are dada. You love the slide, the swing, your new sweet Lightning McQueen ride, sleeping next to mom, going for walks, playing with Dad, harassing Reno & Annie, corn on the cob, bath time, helping yourself to snacks, Shawn the Sheep and for some reason potatoes are great fun! You get into EVERYTHING. Anything you can reach is yours, the louder the bang the better, you seem most happy when the living room is COVERED in toys, paper, books, everything that used to be neatly stored away in drawers and cabinets. You absolutely love to get me going; you give me that little grin, a twinkle in your eye and then lose all control. You are so pleased with what you’ve accomplished, you dance a little jig, giggle and squish your nose up and give me that cheesy smile because you’ve just won the game yet again… love you!
